MG FAZZ ver.Ka

This is a 2020 build that I finally managed to go back and take pictures of. To read the recap of what I thought of the kit, see my original retrospective post:

Now having completed the photoshoot, yes it’s true that you can’t really pose the kit that much with the main elephant in the room being the extreme weight loaded on the right side of the MS. I had to use blu-tack to reinforce under the torso to help prevent sagging. As with most Full Armor kits, once the armor goes you can kiss most of the under paint job goodbye. There’s also plenty of collision issues, with the shoulders/backpack, thighs and the ammo belt flailing around.

The limbs are so heavy that any kind of bend tends to cause to slowly sag back to neutral position. The front “loincloth” also blocks the legs forward movement. I also had quite a bit of trouble getting it onto the action base due to the weight being primarily being on the right side. I ended up getting past this by offsetting the kit on the action base peg at a slight angle and also placing a support under the right foot. As such I only managed to take variations of a single pose, being the classic Thunderbolt one which I’m most known for. I feel this is the best showcase for the kit as you can fully appreciate the size of the Mega Launcher. For shots where the kit is holding the Mega Launcher, the fist part is connected to the handle while the rest of the arm is just free floating.
